We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utilities sector, with telecoms experience being highly desirable. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the industry and to drive growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the utilities sector, with a focus on expanding the company's portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and partnerships to secure long-term business deals.
  • Utilize GIS systems to inform business strategies and identify areas for market expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to senior-level executives.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in business development within the utilities sector (telecoms sector experience is desirable).
  • Familiarity with GIS systems and their application in utilities projects.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Located in, or willing to travel between, Reading and London.
