Assist Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader to work for our client, packing products like biscuits, cereals, and crisps.

Our client is looking for someone who has worked in a food environment previously, and has previous team management experience.  

Production Team Leader: Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:000
  • 22:00 - 06:00
• Plenty of overtime available 

Please note - you must be able to work all shifts if required. You maybe asked to work different shift, and these might not be rotating. 

Production Team Leader: Role & Responsibilities 
This is a varied role and requires someone with previous experience in food production or other production environments.
The role will include: 

• Managing and organizing your teams day to day requirements on the production line 
  • Managing up to 10 people 
  • Performance management 
• Taking ownership of the production line & quality matters
  • Quality Checking
• Reporting issues to the shift supervisor and different departments 
• Ensure completion of required process documentation 
• Develop your team through task rotation, mentoring & coaching, and various training initiatives 
• Setting tasks & seeing projects through to completion 
• Monitoring efficiencies & continuous development and improvement
• Overseeing general Health & Safety
• Ensuring all hygience requirements are catered for
