Stores Operative / Band Saw Operative/ Semi skilled Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced stores operative to work for our client who are located in between Holmfirth and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A STORES OPERATIVE:
- Stock control / booking in stock
- Computer literate
- Cut steel using a band saw
- Measuring steels correctly and accurately
- Marking out
- Operating Automatic Saws/ Steel Bar Saws.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- FLT
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
THE HOURS:
Working on days – Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm
Friday 7:30am – 1.30pm
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of £12.50 to £13.50 an hour depending on experience.
