Lead Electrical Engineer – Defence & Aerospace Sector
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a leadership role within a dynamic and innovative environment? We are working with a world-leading organisation in research, development, and innovation within the defence, aerospace, and security sectors. They are looking to appoint a Lead Electrical Engineer at their site on Portsdown Hill, just outside of Portsmouth.
 
About the Role:
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will oversee electrical engineering, maintenance, and installation projects at a cutting-edge Shore Integration Facility. You will be responsible for leading planned and reactive tasks, while also managing and coaching a team of engineers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll provide technical leadership and ensure the successful delivery of various engineering projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical engineering projects, including maintenance and installations.
• Lead and manage a team of engineering professionals, providing guidance and functional support.
• Ensure timely delivery of planned and reactive tasks within the facility.

 
What We're Looking For:

• Hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a background in sectors such as manufacturing or engineering.
• 18th Edition certification is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
