GSL Education are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager for a client school located in Hackney. This position demands a highly skilled HR professional capable of overseeing all facets of human resources, including recruitment and employee relations, within a school setting.

As an HR Manager, you will ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures while supporting the development of the staff team to maintain a positive school culture.

Responsibilities of an HR Manager:

  • Managing all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
  • Implementing HR policies and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Handling employee relations and addressing staff issues as they arise.
  • Maintaining and updating HR records, contracts, and personnel files.
  • Providing strategic advice to school leadership on HR-related matters.

Required Qualifications for an HR Manager:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
