We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our client in Galway. In this role, you will support the Employee Stock Purchase Plans product area by providing key insights through data analysis, workflow optimization, and reporting. You will play a vital role in leveraging data to drive product decisions and improve the digital experience for customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, clean, and transform data to provide actionable insights that support ESPP product development and decision-making.
  • Design and develop data models, reports, and dashboards to support product teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct data analysis, impact analysis, and workflow optimization to drive product improvements.
  • Use statistical tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAS, or SPSS to analyze complex datasets, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product roadmaps and identify areas for process optimization.
  • Perform Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) by validating data outputs and ensuring traceability of test cases to business requirements.
  • Partner with Agile teams to define data requirements, metrics, and reporting structures to support product features and enhancements.
  • Provide insights on ESPP product performance, helping to improve the user experience for participants and plan sponsors.
  • Communicate key findings and data-driven insights to stakeholders, influencing product strategies and solutions.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within financial services or stock compensation (ESPP experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and statistical tools (Excel, SAS, SPSS, or similar).
  • Experience in data visualization and creating actionable reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Mural.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large datasets, conduct complex analysis, and interpret results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience conducting data quality checks and validation.
