Year 5 Teacher – Maternity Cover 

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a primary school in South Gloucestershire on a full-time maternity cover basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons while fostering a positive learning environment that supports the academic and personal growth of your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of Year 5 pupils.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs.
