Job Title - Production Supervisor
Salary - £29,835
Location - Loughborough
Hours - Mon - Fri 2pm - 10pm

Purpose of the Production Supervisor role:
Our client is looking for a food production Supervisor to expand their growing team, to help produce and pack products ready for delivery. You manage a small team, ensuring that standards are met and procedures are followed, monitoring and maintaining the quality of products.

Main duties and responsibilities of a Production Supervisor:

• Working within production, preparing and making cakes/desserts.
• Managing a small team ensuring targets are met.
• Follow start up and close down procedures and maintaining a clean working environment throughout the day.
• Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality and quality are adhered to.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of the product throughout the process.
• Complete all relevant paperwork fully every time a product is produced.

Experience/knowledge requirements for a Production Supervisor:

• Resourceful and adaptable.
• Willing to change tasks or departments as production requires.
• Leadership experience within a food production environment.
• Able to communicate easily with all other staff and able to understand the company written records and documents.
• Minimum one year's food industry experience.
• Comfortable with handling, preparing and baking of food which involves long periods of standing, lifting and carrying as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
