Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Various Secondary Schools across Hertfordshire

Salary: £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and maintain classroom discipline to ensure effective learning takes place.
• Support and assist students in their learning, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Report any behavioural or safeguarding issues to the appropriate staff members.
• Engage with students and facilitate a constructive learning experience.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a Secondary School setting is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and handle various subject areas.
• A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing students' growth and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
