My client is a leading agricultural organisation providing people, products and services to help communities succeed. Due to an internal restructure, they are recruiting for an exciting newly created position, Retail and Commercial Support Officer.


Your new role
This exciting new role promises a varied workload, ensuring that no two days are alike. This role combines supporting the Retail Director with administrative duties and efficient co-ordination of all aspects of commercial administrative tasks.
This role is office based with working hours Monday-Friday (9am-5pm).
As part of providing comprehensive support to both the retail function and the Retail Director, you will attend visits to other branches frequently.

Duties will include:

  • Providing secretarial support to the Retail Director, handling correspondence including calls, emails and preparing documents.
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements and supporting the facilitation of events.
  • Manage team calendars including holiday requests and absences.
  • Act as a central point of contact for retail and commercial teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing business projects.
  • Maintain and update commercial records and databases, as well as, collating and distributing commercial performance reports and analysis as requested.
  • Support in managing supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. Also, assist in creating and maintaining a library of preferred suppliers, including all compliance documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent MS skills, including Excel.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Experience in a PA/ Senior Administrative role.
  • Ability to travel to sites across the UK.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels across the organisation.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
