Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Sheffield who have a requirement for an Business Development Manager. As a key part of the business the Business Development Manager will be expected to take responsibility for a number of clients to grow and develop both new and existing business. They are looking for a good communicator who is good at making clients aware of what they do.
In terms of the company they are currently experiencing real growth and investment and this is a great time to be joining an established business!
Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:
- Ideally be apprentice trained in Fabrication or have been a Plater, Welder or Machinist
- Experience in working in medium to heavy engineering working in sectors like Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Subsea, Steel, Aerospace, Defence, Structural or similar.
- Be willing to travel regularly to meet with clients on site and developing relationships.
- Be adept at generating sales and winning new business.
- Knowledge of managing client enquiries and assisting with estimating and technical discussions.
The offer for the role of Business Development Manager:
- An excellent competitive salary - £55-65k*
- Hours - 8:30am-4:30pm
