NexGen Consultancy are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join a well establised CNC manufacturer located in Bridgewater.

Due to continued demand for our first-class, precision machining services our client are recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter / Operator to join our team at their modern Bridgwater facility.

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 1pm 

The Setter / Operator must have a “can-do” positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve. They need to competently and safely be able to set machines using the appropriate tooling, speeds/feeds and work holding equipment. Be familiar with Fanuc controls, be able to adjust offsets and use measuring equipment such as micrometers and vernier callipers to maintain accuracy and quality of the parts being produced.

The Setter / Operator is responsible for maintaining and operating the machinery and the efficient running of production. They are responsible for helping solve problems that may occur on the shift from the CNC operators.

They must be reliable, able to work with attention to detail and follow safety standards.
