Complex Needs Support Assistant |South East London| Mainstream Secondary school

Remedy Education are looking for a motivated and nurturing Complex Needs Support Assistant to join one of our top Secondary schools in South East London. The role will be working on a 1:1 basis with a female student and will be helping and assisting with the below,

  • Administering medication through a tube
  • Being able to change and flush a feed pump
  • Personal care
  • Physiotherapy (this is personalised)
  • Use of a cough assist machine

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Role: Complex Needs Support Assistant
  • Location: South East London
  • Contract: Full time
  • Start: ASAP
  • Rate: £105 - £110 per day ( Depending on experience )

Requirement:

  • Ability to work in a challenging environment
  • Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (Not mandatory as we can provide one)
  • Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours
  • Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
