Guidewire Developer

Initial 3-month Contract Role

We're recruiting on behalf of an IT Services Provider who are looking for a Guidewire Developer to join their team; in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications using Guidewire's suite of products.

As a Guidewire Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Design, code, and test new functionalities and enhancements in Guidewire applications.
• Customize Guidewire solutions to align with business requirements.
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Integrate Guidewire with other enterprise systems for seamless operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Optimise application performance for scalability and reliability.
• Follow best practices in coding and development.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Excellent experience in Guidewire tools.
• Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and familiarity with Gosu programming language.
• Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and build tools such as Maven and Ant.
