Due to an expanding portfolio of systems and continued business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer/Senior Systems Engineer at our Witney facility—a state-of-the-art manufacturing site and centre of excellence for R&D.

The successful Software Engineer/Developer will play a key role within the Systems Software Engineering team, delivering best-in-class systems solutions within an Agile SCRUM/DevOps working framework. This role will support key areas of the business, including R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Third-Party Manufacturing groups. The team delivers end-to-end solutions, ranging from bespoke embedded firmware to database design and data analytics/reporting tools, all within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help product owners define technical requirements.
  • Develop software solutions (C#) in line with agreed priorities.
  • Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on both new projects and Business As Usual (BAU) tasks.
  • Develop test-driven solutions within CI/CD pipelines.

Key Requirements & Attributes:

  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills, particularly in C#.
  • Experience with .Net Core and, ideally, microservice-oriented designs (Docker or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile SCRUM/DevOps working frameworks.
  • Bonus: Experience with AWS architecture, Oracle databases, or writing embedded code for processors like ARM Cortex or TI MSP430.
