Elevation Senior Finance are working with a successful, global business based in the Wakefield area, as they look to bring on board an experienced Finance Analyst into their dedicated finance function, on a full time permanent basis. 

This is a key role in the Finance team and duties of the Finance Analyst will include, but not limited to:

• Prepare and analyse month-end financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Complete month end process for the Wakefield site 
• Develop and maintain KPI reports to track financial and operational performance
• Analyse variances and provide insights on trends
• Business partner with operations and engineering teams, providing financial analysis and advice to support decision-making
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Streamline financial reporting and month-end close processes
• Support automation of financial tools and systems

Key Skills & Experience required:

• QBE, PQ or qualified accountant 
• Experience in a commercially focussed role
• Comfortable working under pressure and at pace; able to demonstrate working within a team and to own initiative, taking responsibility for continuously driving improvements
• Able to present logical, evidenced arguments to support them
