Role: Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £18.75 per hour for 37.5 hours, overtime paid at £28.13 after 37.5 hours.

Located: Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire

Hours: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (+ paid overtime available)

Glu Recruit are proud to be collaborating with a leading Electrical and Mechanical company based in South Yorkshire, specialising in facilities maintenance. The company are currently going from strength to strength and have grown into a full-service provider of turnkey M&E and facilities management solutions.

We are seeking skilled Installation/Testing/Maintenance Electricians to join the team and be based in South Yorkshire. This role covers a 30-mile radius, encompassing Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance and installations across multiple commercial and retail sites.
• Carry out EICRs, reactive repairs, and installation work on various asset types, including but not limited to:
  • Lighting systems
  • Electrical distribution boards & associated circuits
  • Fire & intruder alarm systems
  • Pumps, motors, and associated control systems
  • Building management systems
  • PAT testing
  • HVAC systems
  • EV systems
• Perform fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.
• Conduct alterations, installations, and electrical testing in line with specifications and legislation.
• Participate in an on-call service as part of a call-out rota.

What you’ll need:

• Inspection & Testing experience is essential
• 18th Edition
• NVQ Level 3
• AM2
• City & Guilds 2391 (desirable)
