Our client has been established for over 10 years, and has implemented and supported wide-ranging solutions, with a positive impact, to hundreds of businesses and individual. Their mission is to become a market leading managed service provider and a trusted IT partner in Birmingham.

They are looking for a technician who wants to gain exposure and experience with a growing IT support company. The chosen apprentice will receive on the job learning with support from an experienced IT team.

KEY DUTIES –   

  • Logging and updating tickets on the IT ticketing system
  • Installing, configuring and Troubleshooting OS and Hardware
  • Configuring new user accounts and making sure the end user is satisfied
  • Repairing equipment and replacing parts
  • Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies
  • Administration duties in line with the daily checks
  • Provide customer training where required
  • Logging and updating tickets on the IT ticketing system
  • Liaising with third parties to arrange appointments and external support
  • Ensure IT policy and procedures are adhered to maintain the integrity of the MDU network

ELIGIBILITY

  • Living in the West Midlands area i.e. Birmingham, Solihull etc…
  • Employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop.
