Male Teaching Assistant
Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: NW9, Kingsbury, London
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Male Teaching Assistant to join a supportive educational setting, assisting a Class Teacher in working with children who have faced challenges in mainstream education. This role focuses on supporting students that require behavioral management. You'll play a key role in helping these students succeed within an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs
- Assist with behavioral management in the classroom
- Foster a positive learning environment in collaboration with the Class Teacher
- Help students build social and emotional skills
Essential Requirements:
- DBS on the Update Service (Mandatory)
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and experience with behavioral management
- Ability to work with children in a school setting
- A compassionate, patient approach to working with young people
