We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will be working closely with students who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Your role will be crucial in providing essential support that helps these students overcome challenges, build confidence, and succeed in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND.
• Assist in the implementation of personalized learning plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Use communication tools such as visual aids to enhance understanding.
• Help manage sensory needs, including supporting students with physical disabilities or medical needs.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and encouraging environment for students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with PMLD, SLD, or ASD.
• Knowledge of Makaton or similar communication tools is a plus.
• A background in youth work, volunteering, or experience in care settings is advantageous.
• A patient, adaptable, and compassionate attitude, with a sense of humour!
• A super keen willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to the unique needs of our students.
