Interim Materials Planner - Lincoln

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Pro Rata

Our Client: is a leading British manufacturer, offering a wide array of products for the food and drinks industry, renowned for their innovation, high-quality and sustainable solutions.

The Role: We are looking for an experienced and driven Bid Manager to join our client's team for a 6-month interim contract. This role will play a key position in their growth, securing new sustainable work in the public sector. In this role you shall overview all aspects of the bidding process. You shall consult with all relevant departments involved within the bidding process, as well as negotiating with potential customers to achieve a positive outcome for all involved.

What you'll do:

* Inventory Management: You will be responsible for ensuring that our client's inventory is monitored and available to ensure production runs smoothly.

* MRP: Managing the MRP effectively, using legacy software.

* Supplier Management: A large part of this opportunity will be liaising with suppliers, ensuring a timely delivery of components.

* Adapting to Changes: respond quickly to changes in production schedules, pushing orders back and pulling others forward.

Who you are:

* Experienced Professional: You have demonstrable experience as a Materials Planner, often dealing with a high volume of orders, having liaised and interacted with supplier frequently.

* Detail Orientated: Attention to detail focused.

* Negotiable: Appropriately negotiate with suppliers, when necessary, to achieve a positive outcome.

* Relationship Builder: Successfully manage and consult with a multitude of individuals, including supplier, with a variety of backgrounds, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Self-Starter: Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.

* Adaptable: Adapt to changes and overcome scheduling issues.

Ideal location:

Ideally, you live in the greater Lincoln area, this may also include, Nottingham, Scunthorpe or the surrounding areas.
