We are looking for a confident Office Administrator who'll play an important part in the smooth running of the office, to join our team in Long Eaton. You will need to be a real team player, someone who isn't afraid of 'getting their hands dirty' and you'll have the autonomy to do what needs to be done to get the job done!
 
BASIC SALARY: Up to £26,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Import / Wholesale / Design - Administrator
 
Reporting to our Customer Service Manager, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting the business ensuring the smooth progressing of customer orders as well as other office and administrative functions throughout the different teams within the business.
 
No two days are the same, and as a small close-knit team, at times it requires 'all hands on deck', but on a normal day you can expect to:
· Process and resolve customer orders and queries, and order swatch requests.
· Respond to verbal and written sales and delivery queries.
· Dispatch and manage stock levels.
· Update spreadsheets and databases as required.
· Assist in the creation and distribution of supply chain documentation.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:  Import / Wholesale / Design - Administrator
 
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in the Furniture/Fabrics/Textiles industries, but this isn't a deal breaker. If you have had experience of working in a manufacturer and/or any exposure to an international supply chain, that would be great. Ultimately, we will consider a variation of backgrounds and the right person is crucial to our business, so we are happy to train the particulars.
 
What's most important to us is:
· Being proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access and have exposure to GoogleSheets.
· You'll have a desire to get the job done and work as part of our small but passionate team.
· You'll have a can-do attitude and won't be afraid to take on any task to ensure we reach our objectives.
· Having a desire to improve on and continuously shape existing processes.
· Having the confidence to take initiative, and manage stakeholders at all levels.
· Having excellent written and verbal communication to de-escalate and pacify customers who have complaints.
