About the role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder, you will play a vital role in supporting our students’ educational journeys. You will work closely with both verbal and non-verbal children, utilizing your skills to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your experience with speech techniques will be a significant asset in helping our students communicate effectively and engage in classroom activities. Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred.

• A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or child development.

• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD, ensuring their engagement and understanding of the curriculum.

• Collaborate with teachers to create and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.

• Use speech techniques to assist non-verbal students in developing communication skills.

• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents to support student development.
