Water hygiene Technician / Risk Assessor - South East

Due to a high workload my client is now seeking to take on a City and Guilds / WMSoc qualified Technician.

The Role:

As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for visiting clients' sites and being the face of our company. Your main goal will be to enhance relationships with existing clients and ensure their water systems remain compliant. Working alongside a team of likeminded professionals, you will provide exceptional customer service and support. Remote working collecting data via tablet.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Take pride in the work and service you deliverer
  • Have a good level of computer/digital skills
  • Demonstrate behaviours in line with our company values
  • Should be able to demonstrate on paper competence/training
  • City & Guild / Water Management Society / BOHS / Equivalent

Desirable:

  • Basic plumbing/water remedial (e.g. Deadleg removal/fitting new TMVs/tank insulation fitting/mains disinfections/tank remedials etc.)
  • Calorifier descales

Duties

  • Conducting water sampling
  • Monitoring water temperature levels at sentinel outlets and plant
  • Descaling shower heads and hoses
  • Servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
  • Flushing of expansion vessels
  • Tank cleans
  • Water Plant inspections
  • Monitoring of system chemical levels
  • Reporting works using digital platform
  • Effective communication with planners and line manager
