We are currently working alongside a leading construction and civil engineering organisation to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer to help support and transform their Infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for on-premise and cloud-hosted server environments and networks.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new IT processes and policies.
- Support change control, testing, and deployment of infrastructure services.
- Act as a 3rd line support, troubleshooting complex issues.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of service delivery.
- Maintain IT security at all times and assist in the upkeep of security accreditations.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in an Infrastructure Services role.
- Strong expertise in IaaS (Windows/Linux), Azure networking, monitoring and alerting, Azure AD/Local AD, Windows Server, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with SAN Storage (HPE Nimble), SD-WAN, and high availability failover clustering.
- Familiarity with AWS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Microsoft Intune, and Zscaler VPN is a plus.
Requirements:
- IT-related degree and certifications (Microsoft O365/Azure Administrator, CCNA, ITIL Foundation).
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Full clean driving license
