Junior Transport Planner

Location: Felixstowe

Salary: Up to £25,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn how to schedule and route plan HGVs for customer deliveries.

• Assist in fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.
• Assist with and ensure the smooth running of Container Transport Operations out of the Port of Felixstowe.

• Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.
• Be an integral part of the Transport Office team.

Requirements:

• Previous Transport Planning Experience would be beneficial, but not essential
• IT and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
• Be a team player.
