Occupational Therapist (SEND)

Contract: Permanent

Working hours: Full time, 40 weeks per year during school term time and INSET + 6 weeks holiday to be taken during school closure periods

Salary: £42,471 - £65,095 (actual salary)

Location: Enfield and Clapton

Our private client in North London are recruiting an OT for their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments, management, treatment, and advice for children aged 9 to 17 with diverse emotional, social, and mental health difficulties.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate therapy treatment programs in accordance with each child's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams, contributing to team meetings, consultations, joint assessments, and reviews.
  • Participate in staff training to enhance team capabilities and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Dip COT, BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy with a HCPS AND BAOT registration.
  • Previous experience working in a specialist school setting or in a CAMHS Service.
  • Sensory Integrated trained
