We are seeking exceptional Apprenticeship Tutor to join our team at NHC. If you are driven to see your students succeed and can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, we want to hear from you.

Job Purpose:

You will participate in the planning, delivery and assessment of L4 Children & Young People’s & Families Practitioner, and L5 Children & Young People’s & Families Manager.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver apprenticeship programs in the subject area.
  • Provide effective training and assessment using various teaching methods.
  • Conduct practical assessments and maintain required records.
  • Support recruitment, sign-up, and induction of students, addressing individual needs.
  • Coordinate apprenticeship frameworks for timely success.
  • Build strong relationships with employers to enhance learner achievement and program growth.
  • Maintain high Health & Safety standards and report risks.
  • Adhere to student retention, attendance, and success metrics.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the curriculum and student outcomes.
  • Attend college meetings and external events.
  • Conduct tutorials and reviews to monitor learner progress.
  • Travel for client requirements and face-to-face delivery.
  • Be available for evening and weekend work as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant occupational qualification to L5 and an assessor qualification.
  • Teaching qualification is an advantage
  • Ability to inspire and engage students, with a passion for teaching and learning.
  • Organized with strong time management skills.
  • A*-C in maths and English.
  • Proficiency in IT applications and online portfolio systems.
  • MUST have Residental childcare experience
