Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can utilise your experience and knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Engineering to inspire the next generation of engineers?

A well established, specialist engineering training provider in the Wiltshire area are currently hiring for an experienced Electrical Engineering Lecturer to deliver Electrical/Electronics up to Level 4, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Teaching experience is required, and whilst a teaching qualification is desirable, the college would be happy to provide full training and support to any successful applicant who is looking to attain these.

Job Description

  • Teach BTEC and HNC Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, both theoretical and practical
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress
  • Create and update course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
  • Provide support and guidance to apprentices throughout their training journey
  • Assess and evaluate student work to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance the apprenticeship program

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Have substantial industry experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
