A Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in the education of secondary pupils by providing a seamless gap in learning in the short-term absence of Teacher.

Basic role responsibilities:

• Supervising students and maintaining a structured environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task.
• Assisting with educational resources.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.
