Position: REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN’S HOME – LD & AUTISM

Location: WHITEFIELD, MANCHESTER

Salary: C£45K+ PER ANNUM – NEGOTIABLE DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Hours: FULL TIME PERMANENT

Coben Healthcare are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a new 2 bedded Children’s Home for a growing organisation in Whitefield, Manchester

For this LD & Autism Children’s Registered Manager you will be launching and overseeing the day to day running and operations of a 2 bedded residential home, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.

Job Requirements:

· Provide strong leadership, direction and guidance to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working culture

· Recruiting & managing the residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders and Support Workers

· Develop and implement care plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs and preferences

· Ensure compliance with Company, Children’s Homes Regulations & OFSTED, standards & policies

· Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups

· Maintain accurate records and documentation, including individual care plans, risk assessments and incident reports

· Coordinate holistic support for the children and young people and promote an environment of continuous improvement to enhance the quality of care provided

Skills / Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience of managing a Children’s Home / Service
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or Children's Residential Care
• Sound knowledge of OFSTED legislation, regulations and best practices in children’s residential care services
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and external stakeholders.
• Dedicated and inspiring, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
