Vehicle Technician

Working on behalf of a Global OEM who produce some of the world’s most iconic makes and models, become a floating Vehicle Technician working to triage their dealership networks! - Join a team of flying spanners as you embark on a process of workshop improvement whilst supporting with crucial complex repairs and diagnostics.

A typical day as a Vehicle Technician

• Understand and experience current practices at Dealership Networks
• Identify areas of improvement in current practices
• Support with workshop jobs including complex diagnostics, repairs and warranty work
• Create and work through corrective measures / new processes with Dealership Teams 
• Monitor progress and amend practices as appropriate.

A typical 6-months as a Vehicle Technician

• Spend approximately 1 month with each Dealer network before moving to the next site in your local region
• Return to each Dealer network in order to see achievements, monitor its progress and apply continuous improvement methods based on their feedback

Working hours for the Vehicle Technician Project Team:

Supporting core operating hours of 8am – 6pm across varying sites with overtime on Saturday and weekdays.

Pay – Very competitive pay structure!

• Core Hours 8 hours per day: £27.82 per hour
• Overtime (First 2 hours per day): £36.84 per hour
• Overtime (Over 2 hours per day): £41.35 per hour
• Saturdays: £41.35 per hour
• Sundays: £54.89 per hour

Contract: Please note this is a long-term contracting position, the above pay rates are paid via an Umbrella Payroll Administrator and are inclusive of, Hourly pay rate, Holiday pay and Apex Recruitment’s contribution to the payroll administrator’s deductions.
