Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) - Primary School, Highgate, Haringey

Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in a young learner's life? A highly regarded primary school in Highgate, Haringey, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their team from September 2024.

The Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support the development and learning of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring they have a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which to thrive. You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to plan and deliver engaging activities, monitor progress, and provide personalised support to help each child reach their full potential.

This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week during term time only. Your role will include fostering children's curiosity, encouraging positive social interactions, and promoting key early years skills such as communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children in an early years setting
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary and Benefits:

  • £100-115 per day PAYE, depending on experience and qualifications
