£52,000 - £62,000/annum

This role involves supporting the projects team in delivering new connections and private network projects at 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV. These projects span various sectors, including renewables, industrial, and commercial. The position will require collaboration with a skilled team of installation fitters, jointers, and SAPs.

Key Responsibilities:

Commission transformer and switchgear installations at 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.

Work with major OEM technical standards, including Schneider, Siemens, Lucy, ABB, and Brush.

Install and test control wiring and control systems.

Familiarity with protection relay testing, including VIP, Micom, and Sepam.

Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and manage small work packages.

Support installation activities across various projects.

Define commissioning deliverables and related material/resource requirements for individual projects.

Develop commissioning programmes in line with overall project timelines.

Compile work packages, job instructions, and risk assessments/method statements (RAMS).

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical system performance requirements for each project.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

HV industry experience.

Emergency First Aid & Manual Handling certifications.

Valid CSCS/ECS card.

Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

ONC/BTEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Proven experience in industrial electrical engineering and installation.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and flow diagrams.
