Hunter Philips is currently looking for a HSE Advisor for a pivotal role in an onshore wind farm project based in Norway. You will have substantial experience in managing HSE protocols within the renewable energy sector and, throughout this 9-month contract, your role will be essential in upholding and advancing safety standards on a dynamic project site. Potential for contract extension subject to project needs and performance.

Principal accountabilities:

  1. Establish and enforce strict safety measures, ensuring compliance with all site safety standards.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement effective mitigation plans.
  3. Ensure full compliance with both local and international HSE regulations and guidelines.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs to promote a robust safety culture within the team.
  5. Handle and investigate safety incidents, prepare detailed reports, and propose preventive actions.
  6. Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of HSE policies and best practices.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in HSE roles, specifically within the onshore wind sector.
  • Necessary health and safety certifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven expertise in the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent command of English, with strong communication skills for both written and verbal interactions.
