Position: Project Engineer

Salary: Up to £35,000 - £45,000

Location: Sheffield

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Connected search are on the lookout for a Project Engineer with a strong Mechanical background. The Project Engineer is responsible for preparing, scheduling and coordination of assigned projects to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget. They will be the key liaison between the client and the company ensuring a smooth communication route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from conception to completion.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Give technical guidance and support for electrical systems and installations.
• Carry out project reports and produce documentation.
• Resolve issues as they arise.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in project management.
• Understanding of Mechanical systems, and regulations.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Being able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Driver’s license.
