My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Civil and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Water Quality and Marine Consultant to join their innovative Team.

You can be based in many locations across the UK including Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, London or Manchester.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Water Company completing water quality modelling ideally for marine or freshwater environments using Mike or Delft3D.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience completing catchment solutions for river environments and have an appreciation for relevant legislation and water industry regulation.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to join the experienced Team to complete catchment management, nutrient neutrality, water quality and marine water quality projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Government Bodies.

Candidates will be required to complete;

Catchment management plans.

Nutrient neutrality assessments.

Water quality assessments.

Design and implement water quality impact surveys.

Scoping, data collection and presentation of multi-dimensional environmental water quality models for reservoirs, lakes (and Lochs) and coastal environments.

Water quality solutions that meet community needs, including improving biodiversity and reducing carbon.

Numerical modelling using software including MIKE, Delft3D and Telemac.

Hydrodynamic modelling.

Trade effluent and surface water quality compliance and associated regulatory standards for fresh and/or marine waters.

Monitoring and creating solutions to alleviate pollution issues.

This role can be based in many locations across the UK.
