Administrator - Grimsby (DN31)
Location: Municipal Offices, Grimsby, DN31
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrator to join our team at the Municipal Offices in Grimsby. This role requires a versatile and organised individual to manage a range of administrative tasks in support of local government services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support finance and accounting processes, including handling payments and managing basic financial tasks.
- Assist with building maintenance processes and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize office IT systems, including databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Provide excellent customer service, following Service Level Agreements and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Track calls using relevant applications and contribute to performance management processes.
- Plan, prioritise, and organise work to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Adapt to new ways of working and be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic finance and accounting processes.
- Proficiency in office IT systems, especially Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with Local Government Services.
- Experience in dealing with the public and building strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- AAT, finance, or similar qualification is preferred but not essential
