This is a new position within an electrical contracting company. Organic growth has lead to enough of an increase in tender opportunities to justify a full-time estimator. They work with a variety of clients, and carry out a lot of work with the NHS.
The ideal person has some experience quoting/estimating in a commercial electrical setting. This is an ideal chance to get off the tools, or continue to develop your estimating career.
The job:
- Estimate projects accurately in order to win tenders
- Attend site visits where appropriate
- Liaise with and advise project managers
The person:
- Experience with commercial electrical contracts
- Experience preparing quotes/estimates
- Knowledge of estimating software
This is an office based position, with site visits when appropriate.
