Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Location: Streatham

Salary: £27,352 per year

Hours: 8 hours shifts Monday to Friday

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a Nursery Practitioner Level 3 for their private nursery located in Streatham

Requirements of the role: Nursery Practitioner

• We are looking for someone who is confident, caring and friendly
• Someone who will enthusiastically take part in all planned activities for the babies
• Someone who is not afraid to get 'stuck in' - singing, messy play, make believe play, reading stories
• Supporting the babies with their individual routines - supporting nap time, preparing bottles, supporting weaning
• You will be a key worker to a specific group of children and carry out observations on their progress and development on a tablet
• Responsible for liaising with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development and daily handovers
• Dedicated planning time to come up with exciting and engaging activity ideas to help the children's development
• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

Qualifications:

• Level 3 full and relevant Early Years qualification)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
