We are delighted to be recruiting a Software Developer in Test for a scaling entertainment studio. Our client has seen great success with over a million downloads of its platform. There is so much scope for growth and they are currently expanding the quantity and diversity of content for their new platform and building out the tools for user-generated content.

This role will join their QA/SDeT team and play a vital role in developing automated test script systems to be used within their mobile and live service platform using tools such as Cucumber! This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of automation testing who has experience working on mobile apps or API backend services.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Working alongside the development team to understand upcoming features and planning for automation testing development
  • Create automated test scripts using tools such as Cucumber and help to facilitate automated testing across the QA team.
  • Supporting ongoing release process improvements, identifying and filling gaps with automation
  • Developing mobile app automation scripts to test our content
  • Providing web backend API automation scripts
 
Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience as a SDeT with hands-on automation tester
  • Experience with moblie testing tools such as Appium
  • Experience with tools such as cucumber
  • Knowledge of TDD and BDD principles and how to apply them
  • Some experience in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript/Python)
