SEND Teaching Assistant - Sefton (Supply Basis)
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in Sefton. This exciting opportunity involves supporting children aged 5-11 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in primary schools across the area.
Role Overview:
- Provide classroom support to students with SEND, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
- Engage students in both educational and personal development activities.
- Assist with personal care needs, promoting comfort and dignity for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Adapt to varying needs and educational settings on a daily basis.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with SEND students, especially in the 5-11 age group.
- A willingness to take on personal care responsibilities as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and resilience in adapting to new school environments and challenges.
