An Award-winning Housing Developer are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a new build housing project in Telford. This development consists of traditional units and has a strong supportive team on site.

Job Duties:

• Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
• Monitor progress and quality of construction work
• Manage site logistics and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid certification
• Scaffold training
• Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience with a PLC developer in an Assistant Site Manager role.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of traditional PLC house building methods
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional health and safety certifications
• Project management qualification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working on a construction site, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical labour.
