1ST Line Technical Support

Location: Saffron Walden, Essex

Hours: Monday – Friday, weekly rotational shift patterns of the following:

8:00am – 4:30pm

9:00am – 5:30pm

3:30pm – 12:00am (to be worked from home)

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000

Who are we?

Duties to include:

• Act as a 1st line IT Support person for all incoming support enquiries.
• Troubleshoot the basic areas of the company’s platform.
• Assist with the replication of issues as necessary.
• Provide the best level of support possible using a support platform.
• Handle all incoming enquiries, ensuring they are communicated with other teams if required.
• Participate in daily support calls.
• Escalate issues as required to the 2nd line and senior sales engineer teams as required.

Skills/Experience required:

• Ideally you will live no more than 25 miles from their office in Saffron Walden.
• The ability to drive – this is not a requirement for the role however public transport is not great to their location.
• You will be confident, self- motivated and have a customer-first attitude to build relationships and win business.
• Ideally a strong Knowledge of PC Hardware, the Windows platform and application support.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to retain information as well as an appetite to learn.
• Strong customer service skills.
