Carmichael UK are seeking a project manager to join the major works on Hinkley Point C on a long term basis. We are looking for a PM that holds strong tier 1 construction and RC experience, on a contracting basis.  

As a Project Manager you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team.  We are looking for you to bring your experience in construction projects that involve concrete frames to the team. You'll need to make sure that the tasks are running on time, adhering to all HSE regulations and within budget.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing the resources (people, finance and physical assets) in order to fulfil the assigned project(s) safely, on time and to the required quality, while maximising customers' satisfaction and the gross profit.
• The financial monitoring and supervision of the contract, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance in accordance with the Operating Framework, Project Lifecycle Management, and IMS.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
• Ensure the project is programmed in P6 to a level of detail necessary for operational teams to deliver the projects and that the programmes are contractually compliant.

About You:

• Proven experience delivering similar project for major projects for a tier 1 
• Strong NEC management, Commercial management, Construction management, Planning management
• Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
• Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, APM or equivalent.
