The Role:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a wide range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential builds
- Produce detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations, standards, and safety guidelines
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior team members
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering
- Proven experience working on HV/LV power distribution, lighting design, and fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered status (or working towards it) being a strong advantage
