The Role:
AS Materials Planner, you’ll be responsible for supporting the finished goods planning of in-house production and brought-in merchandise, ensuring supply capability and supporting the company’s windows division to achieve their production and strategy targets. In this varied role, your duties will include:
- Demand determination, order triggering, goods receipt and inventory monitoring
- Invoice management for purchased items and delivery date management
- Troubleshooting delivery issues
- Creating reports for active customer communication
- Participation in technical, conceptual, and operational control of the scheduling processes
- Defining the minimum stock quantities in coordination with internal colleagues
- SAP implementation experience, or experience with APO module
- Familiarity with SAP language and system architecture / data flows
- Exposure to change management and AS IS : TO BE Modelling – gap analysis
- Datasheet / data management experience
- Experience of working in a similar industry e.g. construction, FMCG, or process industry
- Ability to travel aboard for training
- Up to £37,300 salary
- Hybrid working after probation – 50% split over two weeks
