CAD Technician

I’m recruiting for my Client who are based in Sherburn in Elmet for an experienced CAD Technician to join their highly successful business.
You will play a crucial role in their drafting process using AutoCAD software and will be responsible for translating existing plans and specifications into precise, technical drawings.
An engineering background would be ideal but most importantly, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under varying project deadlines. You should be comfortable with the possibility of managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changes in project scope or drawing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Develop accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software 2D & 3D
• • Collaborate closely with the technical team and other team members to understand project requirements and drawing specifications
• • Ensure all drawings meet company specifications
• • Make revisions and updates to existing drawings based on feedback
• • Maintain organised digital files of all project-related documents and drawings
• • Stay updated on the latest CAD software developments and drafting techniques
• • Contribute to the maintenance of the company's CAD standards and best practices

Candidate Requirements

• • Proven experience with AutoCAD software, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency
• • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple projects
• • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Hours
Monday to Friday 0830 to 1730 (negotiable)

Salary
Between £26,000 - £29,000 based upon experience
