The strategically important Project Manager role comes with a salary of up to £70,000.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Project Director you will:

• Demonstrate effective individual and collective SHE leadership and promote enthusiastic SHE culture. Manage Safety through early development incorporating life cycle designs that minimise risk to personnel. Conduct regular safety audits and assist, if required, in preparation of risk assessments, method statements and investigations into accidents and near misses.
• Ensure compliance to NERS and CDM.
• Manage the Projects Portfolio to meet the key program milestones and the requirements of the employer deliverables in line with agreed company procedures and best practice
• Ensure the Project delivery team and individual projects are suitably resourced in line with workload and budget.
• Responsible for approving the scope of works, the plan and the target cost for each element of the project the PM is assigned to. Providing clear leadership to the Project Teams and also controlling the activities of the Teams against budget.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Electrical Qualification - in electrical engineering or related discipline
• Min 5 years Electrical Experience within ICP delivery of HV /EHV Networks

Personal skills

The Project Manager role would suit someone who is:

• Self-motivated
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
