Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Scrub/Surgical First Assistant (SFA) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have completed the SFA course and possess relevant experience in a surgical setting. This role involves working closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and a smooth surgical workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
• Support the surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs and providing assistance as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior staff and surgical trainees.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• Must have completed an SFA course and possess relevant experience in a surgical setting.
